Keto Diet for Psoriasis – PART 5

I wanted to give a bit of back story and ask for some thoughts, tips, suggestions, etc.My name is Jayme. I’ve been dealing with psoriasis for about 12 years now. I have not been getting any psoriasis treatment other than the occasional little tube of triamcinolone acetonide creams and ointments here and there… The first many years of my battle I didn’t get treated due to a lack of insurance… These last few years I haven’t been treated because I’d been trying to get and stay pregnant. After 4 losses between 2014 & 2016, my rainbow finally arrived in September last year, and since I’m unable to breastfeed its time for me to get my skin back… Or so I thought.

The before photos were taken March 24th, the day I took my first dose of prednisone. I took it as directed for about two weeks before my dermatologist appointment. Over the two weeks, my psoriasis actually got a bit worse. New spots started forming in my hair, on my back and butt (where they’d never been before). The large areas on my legs got larger and more heavily coated in plaques.

But keto Diet change worked for me. I started the keto diet for weight loss, but then my psoriasis cleared!(after photos) .. Then I got lazy, and started eating crap again, and I’ve been in a hell of flare the last few months. So if you do the diet change, stick with it. I’m trying to get back on ebrel, that I haven’t had to take for almost 10 years. And I’m eating right again. Hoping to get some relief for myself soon. Also, I use coconut oil and get out in the sun when I can. The keeps me as comfortable as I can be for now. So, maybe try those things! ( my plan on :
