I’ve been vegan for 2 years. This is my first psoriasis flare up and it’s now head to toe. My flare started in July and got progressively bad starting in October. I’ve seen multiple doctors/dermatologist and they haven’t really helped me much when it comes to talking diet. I’ve had blood test done and everything seems normal. I don’t eat any kind of processed vegan foods, breads or refined sugars. I’ve done AIP with cutting out nightshades and even starch vegetables.
I thought I’d share the food list I use as a baseline for my diet and for all psoriasis patients. Still experimenting with my reintroduction phase, but when I follow a paleo AIP diet strictly (You can read more download here) , my body has amazing responses. I feel better just days later. It takes about 2 weeks to start physically seeing results on the outside of my body and 6-8 for my body to go into remission. I firmly believe in healing through diet, you just have to find the dedication and patience to allow your body to heal itself self naturally. I know it’s hard when you feel like your body has turned on you, but that this is not the case. Your body is trying to tell you something, don’t give up on it
